Moose Tracks Timeline

Moose Tracks keeps a timeline of all the events that happen in the roleplay. Any plot impacting events as well as character events are posted within the timeline. Certain threads may not be included in the timeline such as character x character relationship threads, whereas a hunting thread, a rival pack thread, human encounter thread, could be included in the timeline. A year is ended when timeline submissions have reach a total number of 365 active days within the RP. Example: If a breeding is expected to happen in the existing year and does not happen in the next year, it doesn't need a time skip request. Example: If an event is happening over the course of a time line and a breeding is expected in the next year, then there needs to be a time skip request completed to ensure the timeline of the new year includes the breeding to prevent plot gaps in the new timeline. Calculating Active Days An active day in the roleplay is calculated in the thread when a character has made mention of a new day in the participating thread they're involved in. For example, if a hunt is in process and it is mentioned that is had taken five days to track prey starting from the beginning of the thread to the end of the thread, then five Active days will be added to the timeline count. A thread mentioning that a character previously hunted last week and spent three days hunting will not count to the Active days of the timeline. When a timeline has reached 365 days in RP, then all threads for that timeline are to be completed and any new plots must be submitted for a time skip is necessary. The timeline is then moved to Timeline Archives and the Active days counter is reset. All time skips are added to the new timeline and new thread can be created with the effects of the new timeline. Example: A character who spends one(1) day in one thread but seven(7) days in another should have another thread specifying in some kind of detail that 8 days have passed when making a new thread, etc.[ How to Submit a timeline event Time skip requests are submitted by creating a new topic in Time-Line requests forum in Member Services. A staff member will respond to your topic with 24-48 hours. Refer to the "How to Submit a request" topic for further inscrutable if you are not familiar with code.
